For those of you who have been watching Naruto, you should recognize this scene.

Before this point in the series, I was a bit neutral on Hinata. I mean, I thought she was nice, but I wasn't getting excited when she showed up. And, while I could relate to loving someone and not saying anything because the only outcome was rejection, I still didn't feel like it was enough to cosplay her. But then, when she fought Pein, I was blown away. She knew Naruto didn't love her back, but her love for him was so strong that she was ready to fight a battle she couldn't win just to protect him. That's true courage right there.

So, I knew then that I had to cosplay her.

I know I'm still an amateur when it comes to cosplay, but it was thanks to this moment in the series that I wanted to do Hinata's cosplay perfectly. There are very tiny tweaks I want to make, but I think overall I got this cosplay nailed down to the T. What do you guys think?

Anyway, I knew I wanted to recapture this scene, but I was uncertain of how to go about it. Then, I saw Samurai Pet's

artwork, and I knew I wanted to recreate this. Especially since she removed it. I'm sure she had her reasons, but I really loved that particular piece she did. It was so full of emotion.

Be sure to go to her page and give her your support! She doesn't really do anymore Naruto fanart, but she has some spectacular OC's you should check out! I particularly have a soft spot for any with the gas mask, but that's just me.

Btw, I gotta give myself props here, these were taken after the whole weebaboo ripping my pants incident, and I STILL kept my cool and managed to hide the rip.

was awesome enough to take the RAWs for me, and then I put together this photomanipulation to recreate the original "Selfish" as close as possible.
