We are now open for commissions!


Our commissions will be only digital art that involves photo editing or photomanipulations.


I realize this is a rather unique way of doing commissions, so I've prepared some guidlines to clear up any confusion about the process.



At Pixel Mages, we do exactly what our name implies.  We use our photoediting skills to bring cosplay photography to a whole new level.

This means, at the basic level we can add special effects and retouch your photos.  Or, we can take it further and create a photomanipulation to put your character into, to recreate the world your cosplay belongs to.

If you are not sure what category your commission falls into, please send me a note.  I will happily answer any questions you may have.  



Rules:

You must be able to communicate clearly.  If you say, "Make me look awesome!" I won't really know what to do for you.  But if you say, "I want you to make this character's eyes glow red" then I have a clear path to follow.

I'm pretty flexible, but all commissions must be approved by me.  I usually only refuse if it's extremely graphic.  This includes acts of violence, sex, ect.  Also, at the stock models' requests, I cannot insert a face onto another model of an artwork I've already done.  It's gotta be all you (but you're awesome anyway, so all the better!).

Once a commission is established, I ask for the payment in full up front.  Then, I will send progress pictures until you are completely satisfied.  Upon completion, I will mail your order to you.



We can do a lot for you, but keep in mind that the picture you submit to us MUST be approved by the model AND the photographer for us to edit.

Remember that the pose and angle in your photo cannot be changed drastically.  I can do minor tweaks, but it's not really possible to change a photo of a person standing into one doing a flip.  

Also, your picture must pass basic photo standards, such as proper lighting and sharpness.  A picture taken off your phone will not be enough for us to work with.

If you're not sure, go ahead and send us the photo to review.  We will let you know if we can work with it or  not.

Once you receive your commission you are free to post it anywhere.  However, you are NOT allowed to sell it by any means.



Pricing:


Original photo with and added special effect:  $10

Character placed into a black/neutral background with an added special effect:  $13

Character placed into a different photomanipulation background:  $20

Character placed into a different photomanipulation background with and added special effect:  $23

Additional characters are $5 each.

Additional special effects are $3 each

Makeup/retouching is $5

4x6- $7

Wallets (set of 4)- $6

5x7- $9

8x10- $13

11x17- $15

13x19- $17

CD with Digital Copy- $8

Prices are subject to change based off details of the commission.
